Star Trek The Next Generation: The Gorn Crisis, was first published in hardback in 2000.  The book is 96 pages and authored by Kevin Anderson.

The plot line is that during the Dominion War the USS Enterprise was not involved.  The untold story is that the Enterprise had been dispatched elsewhere to deal with the Gorn, who were using the Federation’s distraction with the Dominion War to launch their own attack.

A paperback version of The Gorn Crisis was published by DC Comics in 2002.

Plush Gorn Alien Beans eanie

The plush Gorn Beanie is about 6 inches high.   He is made of a variety of materials, including vinyl of which his body is green.  He has a yellow vest with red and blue squares on it.  This Gorn plush has red gloves and blue toes.   The eyes are a plastic oval shape  which makes his eyes appear realistic.

This Gorn Mask created by Rubies Costumes is based on the original Star Trek series.  These masks are cast in quality latex.

The eye holes for the Gorn mask are camouflaged in the folds around the Gorn’s compound eyes.  This is just like the Gorn costume worn in the original Star Trek series.

Gorn Action Figures

A couple different Gorn action figures are available.  First, what is known as the Gorn Retro Style Action Figure.

The Gorn Retro Style Action Figure comes with a cloth uniform.  It is almost 8 inches tall.  The original packaging is resealable – a nice feature for collectors who want to actually touch their treasures without having to rip a box apart.  This is a Seventh Series Action Figure.

Quogs were introduced in 2009 as new, character designs in an animated art style.  Ok, what does that really mean?  You have to see them to know what they are.  Here are some example quogs:

The Gorn is a reptilian species made famous in the episode “Arena” from the original Star Trek series.

Remember the Gorn captain who fought Captain Kirk?

That was back in 1967

Now, more than 40 years later, we have:
